Before there was a label, there were two creators chasing a sound the industry couldn’t define — and a purpose it couldn’t ignore.
Heart 2 Melody Records wasn’t built from blueprints or budgets; it was born from belief.
Two men from different worlds — Dominique “Domo Muziq” Clarke and Tavon “Chubz Mixed It” Richards — collided around one shared conviction: that music deserves both emotion and structure, heart and execution.
That conviction became a label.

Domo Muziq’s story begins in Queens, New York, and grew its roots in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
A natural athlete and competitor, he excelled in basketball, football, track, soccer, bowling, and tennis — and even became a youth chess champion in Fort Washington.
But when the lights went out on the court, music called his name.
Under the mentorship of Noble Jolley Sr. and Jr., Domo found a second home surrounded by instruments, harmonies, and soulful spontaneity. The Jolley household showed him that music was more than entertainment — it was emotion in motion.
Then life took a turn: nine years in the U.S. Army.
Those years forged discipline, leadership, and resilience — the same traits that now guide his artistry and business.
Today, as a husband to Tiara Clarke and father of five, his mission is rooted in legacy.
Every lyric, session, and risk he takes is for them — to show his children that passion, discipline, and integrity can build a name that lasts longer than fame.
Domo’s music defies category. He calls it “a vibe” — because it can’t be boxed in. It’s soulful, honest, and alive.
He writes from experience, sings from emotion, and leads from authenticity.

An Engineer, Vocal Producer, and Entrepreneur, Chubz is the technical genius and operational architect behind Heart 2 Melody Records.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Chubz was introduced to studio life at age five.
By his teens, he was wiring consoles, learning analog mixing, and developing an ear that seasoned engineers twice his age respected.
Mentored by legends and industry pros from Dru Hill to producers across both coasts, he absorbed everything — sound, workflow, and business.
Today, Chubz is a Pro Tools powerhouse with a reputation for creating the sound of today.
He’s engineered and mixed for Snow tha Product (Live Nation Venues 2023), Tory Lanez Festivals, 42 Dugg Shows, The Native (Baltimore 2022), and continues as a contract engineer for the Capital Jazz Fest and SuperCruise series.
He’s fluent on digital consoles from DigiCo, Yamaha, Allen & Heath, Midas, PreSonus, and Behringer — but his real gift is his ear: tuned to the street, refined for the stage, always ahead of the curve.
Beyond engineering, Chubz is a strategic entrepreneur and industry connector.
He’s built networks that link artists to managers, producers, and live opportunities — helping them grow careers, not just catalogs.
His leadership in artist management, operations, and label systems turned Heart 2 Melody into a full infrastructure — complete with contracts, royalty frameworks, and business models that protect every creator under its roof.
He doesn’t just make records sound right — he makes the business around them run right.

He watched too many talented artists lose control of their art — not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked structure.
